However most designers keep them at two-thirds to three-quarters the width of the drawer. There is no right or wrong size to choose but we do recommend choosing pulls that have at least a 3-34 center to center the distance between the screw holes. Using one pull on the drawers would have worked but it would have meant using an appliance pull so using two saved about 50 per drawer.

Oversize Drawers 36 or larger For larger drawers consider investing in longer-length stainless steel pulls such as 6 8 10 or even 12. We recommend a pull that is no longer than one-third of the total cabinet door height and no longer than one-half of the total drawer width. For upper cabinets the bottom screw should be in that range and the top screw will depend on how long your pull is.
